The biggest change is that I've moved them from a cheap <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shared_hosting">shared hosting</a> account to a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Private_Server">virtual private server</a> (VPS), a middle ground between shared hosting and a fully-dedicated physical server.
